It is a known fact that anyone that will lead a group of people must firstly know how to lead him/her self. Which I tagged ability to take a drastic decision and take your stand irrespective of d circumstances. A Fulani man will ask you if a drug/medicine  had been tested OK and ITS POTENCY HAS BEEN CONFIRMED by you before selling it for him. Which implies you can never give what you don’t have.

The following are what I ragged as the most wonderful attributes of a leader.

1. INTELLIGENT: Ability to discern from good and bad ideas within a twinkle of an eye. Ability to solve a tactful problem within a short period of time. Understanding of your environment so as to use it solving other people’s problems.

2. HONEST: Honest they say is the best policy. It is nothing but capability to say the Truth at all times.  It makes you stand out among equals, competitors, contractors, bosses, mates and colleagues. A contract or a job must be delivered on a particular day you promised your clients.  Your words and actions must be accurate, unbiased, unprejudiced, far from lies, full of facts, authenticated, and confirmed before giving them out.

3. CREATIVE: A good leader must have a sense of creativeness, original, impressive, appealing, challenging, and attractive ideas. This will channel to you nothing but the respect if highest order.

4. DRIVEN: You must be passionate, obsessed and motivated to achieve a goal. Either individually or with the harnesses of both human and non human resources within your reach.

5.CONFIDENCE: A leader must have  a sense of self assurance, expression or feelings of certainty. Both your voice, gesticulations and  actions must be bold enough to convince the large number of people.

6. COURAGEOUS: This is d quality of confident character, not to be afraid or intimidated easily. As we know that fear is a oil that propels the engine of failure. We all know that a failure is somebody that fails in doing something and succeeded in doing nothing. Courage will make you to stand the tough of time and give you hedge over others.

Are you interested in starting an email marketing company? Do you need a sample email marketing business plan template? If YES, then i advice you read on. According to Wikipedia, researchers estimated that about US$1.51 billion was spent on e- mail marketing campaigns by companies in the United States of America in 2011.

This amount is also expected to grow to about $2.468 billion by 2016. This shows just how much e-mail marketing is gaining relevance in the business world today.

E-mail marketing involves sending out promotional messages to clients/prospective clients through e-mails. Such messages could be advertisements, updates, brand awareness campaigns or requests.

E-mail marketing seeks to build a relationship between a seller and his clients or to preserve an existing relationship and further build trust and loyalty between a seller and his clients.

What are the types of e- mail marketing services?

Direct emails

Direct e-mails are sent to promote a particular product or sales offer. Companies who offer e- mail marketing services gather the e-mail addresses of people they wish to send such messages to by buying prospective leads from companies who offer lead generation services.

Sometimes, an e-mail marketing company may offer both services. Transactional e-mails Transactional e-mails are sent to complete or confirm a transaction initiated by a client with the sending company. For instance, if a prospective client visits your sales website and fills a registration form asking for further details about a particular product, transactional e-mails would then be sent to such a client to further engage the customer and trigger his interest in the products.

E-mail marketing service companies have become relevant over the years as many companies have discovered their effectiveness and how they can help to increase sales compared to other methods of advertisement. Most companies would rather outsource their e-mail marketing services to professionals who possess the necessary skills and expertise to achieve an effective e-mail marketing campaign. It would also allow the company focus on other aspects of the business.

You can begin a career in e-mail marketing by starting your own e-mail marketing company.

Below is a guide to help you get started. Starting an Email Marketing Company – Sample Business Plan Template

1. Write your business plan

The first step in setting your own e-mail marketing company is to draft your business plan. In your business plan, you should be able to identify your target customers and how you will reach them. You should also identify all the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the business.

2. Decide on the services you want to offer

You should also decide on the category of e-mail marketing services you would be offering. E-mail marketing involves several aspects. There are those who specialize in developing good e-mail marketing content that would help to sell products, there are also others who specialize in building e-mail lists and lead generation for their clients. Therefore, you have to decide on the services that you are willing and able to provide to your clients.

3. Observe your competitors

Going into a business like this requires that you carry out a thorough research on the business and those who have been in the business before you. This would help you understand the opportunities and challenges that exist in the e-mail marketing business. You would also be able to devise means of overcoming those challenges when you start your own business.

4. Purchase E-mail Marketing Software

To effectively run your e-mail marketing business, you would need to invest in a very good e-mail marketing software. E-mail marketing software are used to send bulk e-mails, build e-mail lists for your various clients, develop e-mail marketing content and to track the e-mails sent to see how many were opened and how many were converted to actual sales. E-mail marketing software makes the work faster and easier.

5. Determine your prices

The next thing to do is to figure out how much you should charge for your services. You have to take into consideration your business expenses as well as the time and efforts you will invest in your business before coming up with a competitive price that would justify your efforts and expenses.

6. Devise a sales and marketing strategy

This is a kind of business that needs effective and strategic marketing. You would need to carefully decide on how you want to promote your services and build a customer base.

7. Create a business website

As an e-mail marketer, you can hardly do much without a professionally designed business website. Your website would serve as your landing page where your own clients can check you out. You would also need a good internet service provider and host server that would be able to handle a large volume of data that you would most likely be dealing with.

In conclusion, i want you to know that E-mail marketing is a smart business idea especially now that it is increasingly becoming popular among many companies. Over the next few years, the usage of e-mail marketing as a means of advertising is expected to rise and you can position your own company to take a large share of the market by starting your own e-mail marketing business now and offering your clients first class services with proven results that would keep them coming back and referring others.download

College is full of people who dream big. If you’re one of those people, hats off to you. You have a unique set of goals and skills that will shape this world for years to come and I honestly must give you personal kudos.

If you’re not one of those people, there are a few things that you can take away from the lives of college entrepreneurs to help make yours better.

1. BE OK WITH FAILING
The cornerstone of success is never giving up. With that being said, young entrepreneurs need to learn that it’s okay to fail . In fact, it’s one of the greatest things that you’ll do in your career and life. Failing gives you so much wisdom- if anything, it teaches you what not to do. But in order to be successful, you have to be okay with failing. If something doesn’t work, you have to be dedicated to getting it right. Trail and error is sometimes the only way to do so. Plus, think about it. Do you really think that everyone who is successful gets it right on his or her first try? Nope. In fact, Michael Jordan himself was cut from his high school basketball team at one point. Now he’s considered one of the greatest basketball players of all time. Seriously.

2. BELIEVE
It’s easy to believe in the things that you want to embody. The hard part is being able to believe in yourself, even when everyone else doubts you. Whatever product or service you’re offering, believe that it can make it. Nobody will buy into a scheme if the mastermind behind it doesn’t even believe in it. The power of believing can go a very long way, not only in being an entrepreneur but also in life. Believe that you can get it right. One day, you will.

3. NETWORK
Being successful is becoming less and less about what you know and more and more about who you know. That’s a fact. Ask some of the most successful people in the game. You’ve got to be able to network in life. This means meeting new people, supporting others, interesting yourself in other people’s products, and so on. Being known as the person who listens and helps others is a great reputation to have. It’s still very, very important to know things too. Don’t think that you can just drop out and make it in this world because a college education can get you a very long way. But supplement your knowledge with other people who also have a unique set of qualities and some knowledge of their own. Multiple minds are better than one mind. Be willing to communicate with others and reach out.
All in all, I’m not saying that you’ll be an entrepreneur if you follow these tips. But you will start to think like one if you do. Take some initiative with your life! Who knows where it will take you.IMG-20160805-WA0045[1]
